Fruity porridge bites


Joshua is having extra long naps at the moment due to his cold, so I took the opportunity to make some porridge bites. The recipe is from the babyled weaning cookbook app by @the_baby_led_life I made half a batch so halved the quantities listed in the original recipe. I also hate cinnamon - I can't even stand the smell of it - so I only used a sprinkle of that and added some extra nutmeg instead. The ingredients and quantities I used were... 🍌1 banana, mashed 🥚1 egg, whisked 🥛3/4 cup of milk 🥄1+1/4 cups of porridge oats 🥄3/4 teaspoon of baking powder 🥄1/2 teaspoon vanilla paste (or extract) 🥄1/2 tablespoon of agave syrup (optional) 🥄a sprinkling of cinnamon 🥄some ground nutmeg 🥄butter, for greasing To make... 🌀mix the dry ingredients together 🌀mix the wet ingredients together 🌀combine wet and dry ingredients 🌀grease muffin holes with butter 🌀fill muffin holes with the mix 🌀top with topping if your choice - I topped with blueberries, raspberries and dedicated coconut. To bake... ♨️bake at 180'C until cooked. ♨️if using a normal sized muffin tray they should take 30-35mins. ♨️I used a shallow bun tray for most of my batch as I wanted them to be smaller, so they took about 20mins. Serve straight away, refrigerate or freeze. Enjoy!!
