Cheesy pastry bites


Got some leftover scraps of pastry to use up? Make these cheesy pastry bites! Perfect for a quick and simple savoury snack. To make simply... - roll out your leftover pastry (puff or shortcrust) - sprinkle some grated cheese over half the pastry - fold over and roll it again - repeat a couple of times - roll out again - cut out shapes using a cookie cutter, egg cup, knife etc - place on a baking tray - sprinkle with a little more cheese - bake at 180’C for 10 minutes until golden and cooked through Note: the pastry will shrink slightly in the oven so don’t cut the shapes too small. Eat fresh or store in an airtight container for a few days. Enjoy x
